Two nights ago I finally got around to installing my Ben Swann chip for my 87 Audi 5000CS. Â Overall installation was pretty straightforward and pain-free. Â Big thanks to NYCResitor in Brooklyn for lending the space and soldering equipment.
Brief writeup of installing the chip:
1.) Remove 1 phillips screw at foot panel on passenger side
2.) Remove computer and open up on bench
3.) Clip leads for old chip
4.) Use solder wick or solder sucker to remove old solder
5.) Install 28 pin adapter, solder.
